New High-Security Case to House Hungarian Crown
The installation of new state-of-the-art security cabinets for the Hungarian coronation regalia will begin on Monday in the Parliament.

The crown of St. István, the sceptre, orb and coronation sword will still be on view to the public throughout the works but will be temporarily moved to the Upper House.

Following a public procurement procedure, a contract was awarded to the German company Glasbau Hahn for the design and installation of the new display case.

The company is renowned for its work in museum and exhibition displays.

However, details regarding the duration of the installation and specific security improvements remain undisclosed.
