Bourse earnings edge lower in Q1

First-quarter after-tax profit of the Budapest Stock Exchange slipped 7pc year-on-year to HUF 1.3bn, a report posted on the bourse website shows.
 

Revenue climbed 22pc to HUF 1.1bn. Earnings from the bourse's central securities depository KELER lifted the bottom line by HUF 1.0bn.
 

The bourse's majority owner is the National Bank of Hungary (NBH).
