Inspection of Hungary’s Gold Reserves Completed - Some Stored in Bank of England
The National Bank of Hungary (NBH) has completed the inspection of its gold reserves and concluded that the 94.7 tonnes of gold is in perfect condition, the NBH said in a post on social media on Thursday.

The NBH said the gold reserve is complete and in impeccable condition. A smaller part of the Hungarian gold reserve, 15.5 tonnes, is stored in the vault of the Bank of England in London, it added.

Mihaly Varga, the governor of the NBH, ordered an audit of the reserve after taking up his position.
