Watch: Protest Erupts in Hungary Over 'Misleading' State-Funded Ads

Thousands gathered at Heroes’ Square in Budapest to protest government-funded adverts they say spread fear, hate, and political propaganda. Organizers and demonstrators criticized Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s information campaigns targeting opponents and critics.

The protest highlighted growing public frustration ahead of Hungary’s 2026 elections.
