Sean Paul Comes to Budapest for the First Time
Grammy-winning dancehall icon Sean Paul is scheduled to perform in Hungary next year as part of his Rise Jamaica European tour. The Jamaican superstar will take the stage at Budapest Park on 17 May 2026, marking a significant addition to the city’s upcoming concert calendar.

Since his international breakthrough in the late 1990s, Sean Paul has remained a consistent fixture on global charts. He gained widespread recognition with his 2002 album Dutty Rock, which earned a Grammy Award and produced era-defining tracks such as "Gimmie the Light" and "Get Busy."

His commercial momentum continued into the mid-2000s with the multi-platinum success of Trinity, driven by the global hit "Temperature."

Beyond his musical achievements, he was recently awarded the Order of Distinction by the Jamaican government, serving as a top cultural ambassador for his home country.

Having performed in over 120 countries, his Budapest appearance offers local expats and fans a chance to see one of the most successful Caribbean artists of the last three decades in an open-air setting.
