Starting this month, the airline is operating three flights daily between the two cities. Utilizing Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft, the frequent schedule is designed to offer maximum flexibility for both business travelers and those heading away on holiday, serving what remains one of Europe’s most vital transit corridors.

Global Connections via Frankfurt

For the expat community in Hungary, the new service is particularly valuable for its "seamless" onward connections. Condor has timed these flights to align with their long-haul network, often keeping layover times in Frankfurt to under two hours.

Passengers traveling from Budapest can now efficiently reach a variety of global destinations, including:

North America: San Francisco, Seattle, and New York.
The Caribbean: Cancún and Punta Cana.
Africa & Asia: Johannesburg and Bangkok.

Closer to home, the airline is also enhancing regional connectivity, offering more frequent links to major European hubs such as Berlin, Hamburg, and Paris.

A Milestone for Budapest Airport

The launch, which took place on April 30, is seen as a major win for local infrastructure. Máté Ritter, Director of Route Development at Budapest Airport, noted that the arrival of Condor marks a significant moment for the airport’s growth.

"The introduction of frequent flights not only offers our passengers broader travel options to Frankfurt and beyond, but also further strengthens the vibrant tourism ties between Hungary and Germany," Ritter emphasized.

Whether you are commuting for work or planning a long-haul escape, this new triple-daily service adds a welcome layer of competition and convenience to Budapest’s departure boards.

Hub: Frankfurt (FRA), providing easy access to Condor’s global network.
