Public Celebration of 'Regime Change in Hungary' to be Held in Budapest this Saturday
An all-day "public celebration marking the change of regime" will be held at Kossuth Square and the Danube embankment in front of Parliament next Saturday, the day when the new national assembly is formed and the prime minister is elected and sworn in, Prime Minister-elect Peter Magyar, leader of the Tisza Party, said on Sunday.

"The inaugural session of the 'National Assembly following the regime change' will begin at 10am and can be followed live on screens," he said on Facebook.

The election, swearing-in, and speech of the prime minister will take place at 3pm, and starting at 4 pm, "the public celebration of the regime change" will continue on Kossuth Square with a military parade and a ceremonial flag-raising.

Magyar encouraged everyone to attend the event and to invite their family and friends.
