Watchdog: Crypto Service Providers in Hungary Must Assess Client Understanding of Risk
The National Bank of Hungary (NBH) has instructed cryptocurrency service providers to gauge their clients' investment knowledge and understanding of risks in a recommendation.

The central bank and financial market regulator has instructed crypto service providers to assess clients' knowledge of and experience with investing as well as their risk tolerance and ability to bear losses.

Crypto service providers have until October 1, 2026 to comply.
