50 Countries to Attend Euro Olympic Committees Assembly in Budapest
Delegates from 50 countries are arriving for the European Olympic Committees (EOC) General Assembly, which will be held in Budapest on Friday and Saturday.

The Hungarian Olympic Committee (MOB) said in a statement on Thursday that this will be the organisation's 55th General Assembly.

Nearly three hundred sports diplomats will attend, including EOC President Spyros Kapralos and President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Kirsty Coventry, who is visiting Budapest for the first time in her official capacity.

"We are honoured to bring our National Olympic Committees together in Budapest, and we are grateful to the Hungarian Olympic Committee for their warm welcome," Kapralos said.

Budapest previously hosted the EOB Congress in May 2012, three months before the London Summer Olympics.
