A truck stopped next to a loading vehicle working at the construction site. After the loader operator signalled that the road was clear, the truck started moving.

At the same time, a worker stepped between the two vehicles and was hit by the truck.

Despite the attempts of the National Ambulance Service and a rescue helicopter crew who arrived at the scene, the life of the injured Chinese worker could not be saved.

The police have initiated criminal proceedings for the causing of a fatal traffic accident.
