Balaton Sound Festival was held for the third time in 2009 at Hungary's fanciest beach in Zamárdi, along the shore of Lake Balaton.
Five major and several minor venues awaited festival-goers twenty-hours a day with a wide choice of musical programmes, e.g. Jazz ensembles provided a sonic background for sunbathers.
