Early Taste Of Budapest Beer Week
I didn’t have to think twice when asked by Team XpatLoop to attend a beer-tasting afternoon at the British Ambassador’s residence. I was there quicker than you could say 'I’ll have a glass of craft beer please.' There was plenty to try out as a taster of the many beers available between 20-27 May at the official BPBW event.
This was not just a tasting jolly however; the small matter of a press conference had to be handled before the brew sampling began of Mad Scientist, Brewdog, Hop Top, Tuff Buzz, MONYO, Horizont, and many more delights.
Some may say that I have an easy life, and they might be right. But it has taken years of hard work and dedication to allow myself the privilege of spending a few hours enjoying the simple yet fascinating delights of beer making and drinking.
On a sun-soaked afternoon with the summer a few months ahead of schedule and beers to be drunk, who would turn up their nose at the opportunity? Not me, do hope you like the photos. Back in the office Team XpatLoop published a related article for you to know more about the beer week in question.
Many thanks to HRH Iain Lindsey, and Budapest Beer Week event organisers Peter Pazinczar + Sefcsik Marton, for a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, can hardly wait for the official event to start.
