The 197foot ferris-wheel (60 meters high) it's been ready since 7th of June on Erzsebet Square and will stay there until the 21st of July. After that, it will be moved to the Sziget Festival.

The enormous steel-wheel has 42cabins and can carry 336 passengers. The young residents (under 20) of the 5th district can try it out once for free, otherwise for adults it’s 2400forints, and for children under 140cms it’s 1500ft.

The giant is twenty meters higher than the Sziget Eye of last year, which was already a wonderful experience for those who tried it. Similarly to the Sziget Eye, the new big wheel will be illuminated, is set to become one of the most spectacular attractions of Sziget 2013.

Before arriving at Sziget the gigantic wheel will be situated at Erzsébet tér, promising extraordinary views of downtown Budapest. Pictured is the Belfast wheel, which is the same size as the one coming to Hungary.
