The forint sank to its lowest level against the dollar in 10 years at one point, trading at Ft 266.56.

Under the agreement the ministry will be able to obtain equipment necessary for the technical servicing and maintenance of Gripen fighter jets outside of Hungary, thereby enabling Hungary to deploy the aircraft abroad as well.
