Economy Minister Mihály Varga held talks with Korean Air chairman Chang Hoon Chi in South Korea the possibility of a direct flight between Seoul and Budapest, the economy ministry said. Korean Air is open to direct flights between the two capitals.

Hungary will be the guest of honour at this year’s International Book Fair organised in Taipei on Feb. 16-21, the foreign ministry’s state secretary said. The fair is the second largest literary event in Asia and the fourth largest such event in the world that last year featured 700 publishing houses from 70 countries, István Íjgyártó said.
