Warm apple crumble, thick pieces of cake made up of tempting layers of chocolate sponge cake, cream, fresh cream-cheese and peanut butter, or a light Baiser tartlet covered with mascarpone and fresh fruits – the cakes and desserts at Édesmindegy will simply melt your heart. Xpats are welcome at this fun filled day reflecting the community that makes up the school. This annual festival is entirely organized and carried out by the Parent School Association. As always, proceeds from the event go to support the various service learning and community projects of our students.

The organizers promise to evoke most of the features of typical Viennese balls. As well as Austrian waltzes, operetta will be presented by the celebrated soloists of the Budapest Operetta Theatre. The show will be enriched by the choreography of Evelyn Teri, living in Vienna, the choreographer of the program of the Vienna Opera Ball and the New Year's Concert of 2015, former pupil of Plisetskaya.

I think we can safely say that the winter has gone and being replaced by the eating and drinking season! The winter blues have been blown away with sharp, dashing rays of sunshine. And as we all know, when the sun is out the people are out enjoying local hospitality, with the taste buds tingling for some delicious street food washed down with the usual Hungarian suspects.
