Parliament on Tuesday passed a government bill to introduce stricter rules on the use of unregistered SIM cards. Under the new law, subscription for pre-paid mobile phone services cannot be passed onto a third party without informing the service provider. A Budapest court has ordered the temporary blocking of around 20 websites that carry content denying the Holocaust took place, the Budapest chief prosecutor said. The websites sell the Hungarian edition of a Swedish author’s book that overtly denies genocides committed by the Nazi regime, Tibor Ibolya said.
