On 7 July we offer families and all visitors interesting and interactive programmes. This is the third time we organise the 'Tourism Day' in Veszprém in order to promote tourism and Veszprém. I hate the Poosta Ramblers because they are so damned good that I do not want to risk going to the toilet and missing anything. It becomes painful, but it is all for a good cause. Saturday's concert at Gondozo was no different. Following the departure from Budapest of Sugar Rae Hammond, Fiona Stewart stepped in with some lead vocals and her fiddle.

A team of 40 police officers started a bicycle patrol operation in the capital as of yesterday. Tens of thousands of cyclists will throng the streets of Budapest for the Critical Mass event on Earth Day, April 22, organisers announced on Tuesday. The cyclists will start out from the Pest riverside road in the 13th District at 4 p.m., and proceed to City Park, where they will raise their bikes above their heads in a now traditional manner.
