According to local business daily Napi Gazdaság, BKK ran checks on 2,584 taxis doing business in Budapest during the time period and found overcharging in 265 instances.

The City of Budapest on Wednesday signed a 27-billion-forint contract on the delivery of 37 trams from Spain’s CAF, the mayor’s office told MTI. The contract includes an option for a further 87 trams. CAF was announced the winner of the tender last August.
