Central Budapest’s Nyugati pályaudvar railway station has reopened after a two-week maintenance period in the early hours of Monday, meaning that passenger trains are again serving the station according to regular schedules. The Budapest public bicycle rental system Bubi will be expanded in the summer, adding 50 bicycles and 22 docking stations, Budapest transport centre BKK announced on Friday. The expansion is financed from the Ft 180 million paid by the system constructors as a penalty for the delay in launching the system last summer.
