Moody’s did not update Hungary’s sovereign rating, although it was on its EU sovereign rating calendar on Friday, the ratings agency reported. Moody’s rates Hungary “Ba1”, one notch below investment grade. Analysts told MTI earlier in the week that Moody’s was likely to upgrade Hungary this year, but probably not on Friday.

Some 84% of the 155 Hungarian company leaders interviewed for PwC’s annual CEO survey said they are confident about their own firmʼs revenue growth in 2016, while 59% expect the Hungarian economy to grow, and 54% foresee the growth of the global economy this year, according to an analysis of the survey published by PwC today.

The state of Hungary and Hungarian companies have signed agreements on nuclear energy, the food industry and air transport in the United Arab Emirates, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said in Dubai. Hungary will help train nuclear engineers from the UAE, he said.
