Citing the National Infrastructure Development Company, the paper said a project to relay tracks must be completed by 2020, the end of the next European Union budgetary period, before the station’s renovation can take place.

The district court of Gödöllő, acting as a primary court, sentenced Slovak national Eva R. to six years in prison for drunk driving causing the death of four people, in a non-binding ruling on Friday. Eva R. could be released on certain conditions but not before she serves at least two thirds of her term. Eva R. has been acquitted of dangerous-driving charges.
