The role of dogs in the human social network was examined in the latest study by the Department of Ethology at ELTE, published in the journal Scientific Reports on Tuesday, which reveals that the relationship with a dog can best be described as a mixture of a child-parent and a best friend relationship, the Institute of Biology of the Faculty of Science at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) told MTI.
