Representatives of Budapest’s National Public Service University (NKE) visited and held talks at four American universities earlier this month, NKE Rector András Patyi, who led the delegation, told MTI. The delegation visited Indiana University, the University of North Georgia (UNG), Virginia’s Marymount University and George Washington University in Washington, DC between May 10 and 21.

The 24th Budapest International Book Festival will be held between 20-23 April, András Sándor Kocsis, head of the Hungarian Publishers’ and Booksellers’ Association, told a press briefing on Wednesday. The festival, held at the Millenáris cultural centre in Buda, will host nearly 150 exhibitors and 500 programmes, including book presentations, signings, concerts and discussions, he said.

Starting at 5:30 pm and lasting until 10 pm, the “We will not remain silent!” protest featured musical performances by a variety of musicians and DJs, as well as speeches by notable artists and activists. As many as 10,000 people mostly in their twenties and thirties attended.
