Prime Minister Viktor Orbán expressed concern over investigations the Romanian authorities have launched against Hungarian politicians in Transylvania and said there has been a general “reversal” in minority rights for ethnic kin in Romania. The government-supported vocational training scheme for ethnic Hungarians in neighbouring countries has proved successful this year, the state secretary for Hungarian communities beyond the borders said. The budget available for the programme this year was 500 million forints (EUR 1.7m), and increased significantly from last year, János Árpád Potápi told a conference.
