I’ve long been a supporter of British lifesavers. Ever since I briefly was a lifesaver myself as a student holiday job. And recently I’ve become a trustee of the Lifeboat Fund in the UK. So I’ve been looking for a chance to pick up that cause now that I’m here in Hungary. I’m very pleased to say I’ve found it.

Before his current position, he served as the marketing director of SAP Hungary, and had gained a solid career record in public administration.

Ferenc Kumin is an economist and political scientist. He holds two MAs from the Corvinus University of Budapest and from CEU, and is a PhD candidate at the former. His fields of interest have been political communication and campaigning, political effect on finances, e-governance and e-democracy, and functioning of the parliamentarian heads of states.

"Due to the forecasts about bad weather (strong winds, etc.) the event at 24th of July has been cancelled!
The NEW planned date for the cross-swimming is the 31st of July. New information about this opportunity will be on Thursday at 1 PM!
