Last year's Celebration of Folk Music was not limited to the evening gala performance, and this year's show on 17 January will be the same. This free programme of folk music and dance awaits families from 3 o'clock in the afternoon in the Glass Hall and Foyer of the Palace of Arts.

The Hungarian Revolution of 1848 was one of many of the European Revolutions of 1848 and closely linked to other revolutions of 1848 in the Habsburg areas. The revolution in the Kingdom of Hungary grew into a war for independence from the Austrian Empire, ruled by the Habsburg monarchy.

Join us on March 16th on Szabadság tér from 14:00 and participate in St Patrick’s Day parade. Since 2011 the event has been growing and attracting more and more followers. It is a great family day and last year, despite the cold weather, we had over 1400 people join the fun.
Free Hungarian Language Courses In Budapest

Thanks to the Hungarian Ministry of Interior and the European Integration Fund (EIA/2012/1.1.1) more and more third country nationals are able to learn and speak Hungarian, to integrate and find a job easier after completing the free Hungarian courses offered at Tudomány Language School.
