The district court of Gödöllő, acting as a primary court, sentenced Slovak national Eva R. to six years in prison for drunk driving causing the death of four people, in a non-binding ruling on Friday. Eva R. could be released on certain conditions but not before she serves at least two thirds of her term. Eva R. has been acquitted of dangerous-driving charges.

The demolition of Central Europe’s tallest out-of-use building must be started within six months of the ruling coming into force, and the estimated cost is Ft 1.5 billion.
