Govt In Talks With Russia’s Sukhoi About New National Airline

Representatives of the development ministry and Russian aircraft manufacturer Sukhoi held talks on founding a new Hungarian national airline, public news channel M1 reported. Sukhoi plans to supply six new aircraft and contribute capital for setting up the new company. Initial consultations with the ministry were held in October last year.

A €133.3 million state subsidy given by Hungary to the expansion of the Audi car factory in Gyõr was in line with EU regulations, the European Commission said on Monday after completing a detailed examination. The €1.2 billion project creating 2,100 jobs made a significant contribution to the development of a disadvantaged region, the Commission said.
