An additional 3000 m2 has been added to the existing 6000 m2 campus with a new secondary wing to accommodate the growing school. Electronics retailer Euronics opened its 64th store in Hungary, according to a press release issued today. The 1,500 square-meter store opened in Dunakeszi’s Tópart retail park, in the close vicinity of Budapest.

Retail sales in Hungary climbed by 5.7 percent in June from the same month a year earlier, preliminary data released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Wednesday show. Retail sales also rose by 5.7 percent year on year when adjusted for calendar year effects. The pace slowed from an unadjusted 6.8 percent and was unchanged from a calendar-year-adjusted 5.7 percent rise in May.

Work will soon start on expanding the Millenáris Park in the 2nd district in Buda, with a deep garage for 500 cars and landscaped gardens among the plans, the economy minister said. The designs for the 2.5 hectare site are ready and the procedure for obtaining the relevant permits is under way, Mihály Varga, the MP who represents the 2nd and 3rd districts of Budapest, said.
