The public prosecutor’s office has revealed irregularities in the operation of several organisations supported by Norway Grants, the Government Control Office (Kehi) said. Kehi said it had asked the prosecutor to review seven NGOs supported by Norway Grants, including five operating in Budapest.

Price Of Milk Continues To Fall In Hungary

The bulk purchasing price of milk was 100 forints per litre a year ago but earlier agreed contractual prices have fallen to 75-77 per litre and spot market prices are as low as 72-73 forints per litre, business daily Világgazdaság reported. Production costs for most range between 95- 98 forints per litre according to the paper and only subsidies are keeping many producers from going bankrupt.
