On view until 30 May - Free Admission. Borderline is an exhibition based on the idea of internationally renowned Finnish photographer Stefan Bremer. Borderline is based on Bremer’s recent work with asylum seekers who had to leave everything behind. For many, the only memory from the past are the photos on their phones.

This relatively new 'Restaurant Day' initiative organised by the Finnish Embassy and Finnagora has already become something of a tradition in Hungary. In 2018 the event profile has been updated and instead of traditional food the organisers will be serving up contemporary Finnish cuisine in the Hungarian capital.

To celebrate Finland´s 100th year of independence in 2017, an audiovisual installation Aurora Borealis will light up the sky of Budapest between 3 -6 December. Situated in front of the Gellért Hill Waterfall, Aurora Borealis light statue will bring a piece of the magical Northern sky into the middle of wintery darkness.

The Hungarian state has presented Finland with a Bogányi piano to mark the 100th anniversary of Finland’s independence. The piano was presented in a ceremony in Budapest, following talks between House Speaker László Kövér, and Maria Lohela, his Finnish counterpart.
