"Continuing the traditions of past years on October 1, the organisers of World Music Day invite the people of Budapest to take part in spontaneous music-making for pleasure. This year the European Cultural Capital has joined the initiative: at a major event they are presenting music and dance culture based on Hungarian folk music that links folks across national borders, ages and musical styles.
