József Vágó (45) CEO of SÓLYOM Hungarian Airways Ltd. was born in Budapest, Hungary. He started his aviation career in 1987 at the Russian Military Aviation Academy as a trainee fighter pilot. After finishing the Academy with excellent results, he became a pilot (lieutenant) in the Hungarian Air Force.

Tuesday's meeting of the Hungaricum Committee in Székesfehérvár saw the addition of four new products to the list of Hungaricums: the Csaba sausage, goose liver products, Tokaji Aszú wine and Béres Drops dietary supplement preparation. The Committee also came to a decision on the winning design for the Hungaricum trademark.

I was intrigued to find out exactly what street food was on offer this weekend, in downtown Pest, at the historic Hold Street covered market hall. To my surprise, so were many more, who gravitated to this very popular occasion. You should know, that the Hungarian Government declared emergency situation in three counties (Győr-Moson-Sopron, Komárom-Esztergom and Pest County) and in Budapest as of 12.00 hours on 4 June 2013 due to flood risk. Inform yourself before going to these areas about traffic and other restrictions. Do not forget to inform the consular services of your Embassy about your presence in these areas.
