Two metro trains collided on Budapest’s M2 line early on Monday, injuring ten people, Máté Kisdi, a spokesman for Budapest’s disaster management authority said. The accident happened after one train travelling in the direction of Déli railway station caught up with and ran into the back of another. Both trains were carrying passengers.

Hungary’s Constitutional Court has ruled that when Hungary entered the European Union it undertook to practise EU laws in certain areas, but at the same time Brussels cannot violate the country’s sovereignty and it cannot harm its constitutional identity, government office chief János Lázár said in connection with migration policy.
