New 1.3 Billion Forints Scheme to Fight Cybercrime Launched in Hungary

The aim of the programme is to increase the effectiveness of action against serious and organised cross-border crimes, the police said on its website.
It will be implemented with 1.312 billion forints (EUR 3.4m) in EU funding from the Internal Security Fund Plus, the website said. The project will involve the purchase of data recovery and analysis tools and software, as well as joint operations and setting up joint investigation teams, it added.
The developments are expected to be completed by December 31, 2028.
