Following up on last year's huge success, Müpa Budapest is once again hosting an unusual talent search aimed at providing both an opportunity and space for emerging young bands. A professional jury composed of musicians who are appearing at Müpa Budapest this year will select five winners from the competing bands, who will get the chance to play a stand-alone concert at the Garage Band Festival ...

The band without which even Nirvana wouldn't have been the same. The most importatnt Seattle-based ancient rock band besides The Melvins in Hungary! On their summer tour they are going to kick Primavera Sound in Barcelona, OFF in Katowice and of course the A38 Ship among many.

The Horrors are a British rock band formed in Southend-on-Sea in 2005, consisting of lead vocalist Faris Badwan, guitarist Joshua Hayward, keyboardist and synthesiser player Tom Cowan (also known as Tom Furse), bassist Rhys Webb, and drummer and percussionist Joe Spurgeon. Their music has been classified as garage rock, garage punk, gothic rock, shoegazing and post-punk revival.
Sziget Festival Budapest: Korn & NOFX Confirmed, New App Released

Korn and NOFX were recently added to the already quite prestigious line-up of the 2014 Sziget Festival. This means that all the international acts are confirmed for the Main Stage. Sziget also revealed the 2014 festival app that already includes the detailed daily schedule of the already announced programs. Only 52 days left till the start!
