Hungary’s Mád-based Holdvölgy winery won a gold medal at Asian Decanter Asia Wine Awards (DAWA) 2015 with its vintage Vision 2013, a dry white wine selection, marking a milestone for the Mád wine region in the history of dry Tokaj wines, according to an announcement issued today. Vision 2013 was the only Hungarian wine to be awarded the gold medal.

The 41-year-old Hungarian was up against one of the discipline’s finest, Frenchman Gauthier Grumier.
