That is why the paintings and sculptures of the 20th century permanent exhibition are complemented with our graphic cabinets of a changing thematic concept twice a year.

The celebrations will begin on August 19 when the 'Street of Hungarian Flavours' will open at noon between the Buda side of the Erzsébet híd and Bem tér. Awards will be presented for Hungary’s best cake, sugar-free cake and ice cream. Pop music will play on Clark Ádám tér and on Bem tér from 8pm. Plans have been presented of the Várbazár (Castle Bazaar) – a key element in the cityscape of the Buda Castle area. According to the schedule, the project will be completed by 2014, and as a result Budapest will be even more spectacular than it is at present.
