"Ferenc Erkel was born in 1810. He began his career as a pianist and teacher in Kolozsvár (now Cluj in Romania). He wrote his first opera in 1840, Mária Báthori and then won the competition to set Kölcey’s Hymn to music and it remains Hungary’s national anthem.

"The world famous Hungarian dance group Starry Eyed Folk Dance Ensemble will be performing in the courtyard of the House of Royal Wines and Cellar Museum, at 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday afternoon from 10th of July till 19th September. Their 45-minute open air performance called “Dance, my feet!” can be seen at 1 Palota út on the corner of Dísz tér in the 1st district.

This year’s celebration of Canada’s 143rd birthday joined by the 101st anniversary of the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs as well as the 46th anniversary of Canada-Hungary diplomatic relations was held in the atmospheric garden of the Canadian ambassador, Mr. Pierre Guimond on 30 June.

Prior to her current role as an expat wife, she was a banker, a not-for-profit president, and an adjunct professor in economics.

I call myself am artist these days as it incorportes all the things I do, such as performing in an English comedy play though this April and early May with Equus Productions at Picasso Point in Hajos utca and selling my designer jewellery made of buttons at the Wamp shows and Rhododrendron Art gallery as well as in London, also a little ...
