The number of guests who stayed at tourism accommodations in Hungary over the Easter holiday reached 300,000, climbing 29pc from a year earlier, the National Economy Ministry said on Wednesday, citing figures from the National Tourism Data Service Centre (NTAK).

The role of dogs in the human social network was examined in the latest study by the Department of Ethology at ELTE, published in the journal Scientific Reports on Tuesday, which reveals that the relationship with a dog can best be described as a mixture of a child-parent and a best friend relationship, the Institute of Biology of the Faculty of Science at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) told MTI.
Annual Crime Rate in Hungary Down 60% Since 2010

More than two million daily motorway vignettes were sold between April 2024, when this option was first introduced, and the end of March 2025, with roughly 70% of the stickers purchased for foreign-registered vehicles, the state motorway operator NÚSZ announced.
