Editor Péter Németh told reporters on Tuesday that the left-wing daily needs another 10,000 subscribers or an additional Ft 10-15 million a month to ensure its survival.

In an interview to news website mno.hu, Balog said the reason he had chosen Palkovics for the job was that part of his expected approach would be to incorporate an economic point of view which serves the interests of the whole nation.
