The President has announced that he will sign the controversial amendments to the Constitution. Earlier, a left-wing pundit argued that he should raise his voice against them. A pro-government legal expert objected that the President had no other lawful option than to promulgate the amendments.

Brand new tram lines are going to connect parts of Buda, effectively reducing carbon emissions in the city. Instead of taking the bus, 30,000 passengers per day will use the tram travelling between North and South Buda along the Danube. The 43-million-euro project is financed by the Hungarian government along with the European Union.
