The all-star cast of Lee Hall and Elton John's Billy Elliot – The Musical has returned to the Erkel Theatre. The most prominent Hungarian permieres of the summer of 2016 featured many popular stage actors who will reprise their roles this summer accompanied by a new generations of children.

The American film academy, best known for giving the prestigious Academy Award for cinematic achievement, invited a record 774 people to join its ranks this year. Seven Hungarians are among those invited, the website Variety said.

The relationship between the Kúria, Hungary’s supreme court, and the Constitutional Court, was the focus of evidence given on Monday by the candidates to fill the four vacancies at the Constitutional Court. Parliament is to hold a vote on the four candidates on Tuesday afternoon. The governing party members of parliament’s justice committee endorsed all of the candidates.
