It pays tribute to Hungarians deported to Soviet forced labour camps in late 1944 and during the first half of 1945. The exhibition forms part of an anniversary programme series running until early 2017.

The trade unions of railway workers will announce a national strike in the first week of March if no agreement is reached in ongoing wage talks by Feb. 20, the VDSZSZ Solidarity trade union’s head said. Talks on minimum required services will be initiated later on Friday, Zoltán Havasi said at a joint press conference with other six trade union leaders.
