On 25th October Ms Vera Szirmay will perform at the Amrita Sher-Gil Cultural Centre in Budapest from 18.00 pm. She combines theatre studies (Vienna University), dance art and choreography in her work in theory and practice. After graduating as dance artist from the Hungarian State Opera she started to dedicate her talent for dance and interpretation to Odissi.

The last time was only a few days ago, when it was discovered that the readers of an English-language internet site, Daily Dot, considered Makovecz’s Catholic church in Paks the most “evil-looking church” anywhere.

‘Why don’t you write about the Post Office?’ asked a friend this week, knowing only too well my fraught relationship with that particular institution over the last thirty years. Were I writing this by hand, the tension and frustration evoked in those memories would be discernible in my manuscript.
