Two of the paintings that were stolen from a Buda flat in March have been found, Budapest Police announced on Wednesday. The two paintings found are Válaszút (Crossroads) by Béla Kádár and that of an unidentified Dutch painter.

I’m talking about the Christian Democratic People’s Party or KDNP (Kereszténydemokrata Néppárt). The body of 22-year-old Portuguese man Goncalo Ferraz was found floating in the Danube at the Soroksár stretch of the river in Budapest early Thursday morning. Ferraz was last seen two weeks ago when he and a friend decided to jump off the Erzsébet híd into the Danube late at night. A forensic test ruled out foul play.
