In my interpretation, Siegfried is a young man with a split mind, who is being held captive by the traumas of his childhood as a result of his relationship with his mother.

Listening to music with the Váray, a talented, lovely family, the day can be spent actively indeed.
Piano teacher mother, cello artist father, the nine-year old plays the piano wonderfully, composes music, improvises jazz tunes, and the youngest child sings beautifully as well.
