The cabinet on Wednesday submitted to Parliament a proposal on extending the salary raise for teachers, to be passed by the House at a special session next week. Fidesz caucus leader Antal Rogan announced on August 6 that he would initiate the convening of a special session of Parliament for August 26-27 to approve changes related to the salary raise of teachers.

The need to find space for the offices and homes of MPs and official persons designated by Parliament would be sufficient justification for acquiring private properties.
