Daniel Gliksten has still not been found despite a police search, he went missing in the early hours of 1 January 2013 after leaving the Otkert bar. He was last seen in the city center on Zrínyi street, District V. His family have now flown to Budapest from the UK to help with the search.

Police are closing a 14-year-old inquiry into assassination of media baron János Fenyo. Fenyo was assassinated in Budapest on February 11, 1998. The two main suspects were Slovak nationals Jozef Rohac, suspected of killing Fenyo, and Ladislav Trnka, suspected of driving the car with Rohac.
